Beauty Beginnings

Falcon Ranch now has two beautiful mares with the breeder created Beauty brand. This is Falcon's Beautiful Dream, daugher of Falcon's Beautiful Dreamer.

As you can tell, the branding does not display distinctly on dark coats and especially those with luster. Falcon Ranch will be working the brand into lighter coats as well.

The Beauty Brand

During the 2012 Amaretto Relay for Life Auction for a Cure event a special horse was auctioned as a fund raiser. This horse would bear a unique, breeder designed brand. Isabeau Dagostino and Mexx Merlin of Wonderfoll Horses won the bidding with a $L300,000 high bid.

Mexx and Isabeau solicited ideas for the brand from the breeding community. Three finalist brands - the Egyptian Horus Eye, the Royalty Crown and the Chinese character for Beauty - were voted on by the breeding community and the Beauty brand was selected.

"Beauty is the meaning of the Chinese character and we think it's more than just a beautiful decorative element. It's a statement." [ Beauty - The Story - by Wonderfoll Horses ]

We agree, it is a beautifully unique brand, rare and eloquent in expression. Falcon Ranch is honoured to carry this brand in our herd.

The AMAZON WARRIOR

Athena Mildor recently shared one of her beautiful breeding accomplishments with me - the Amazon Warrior. This is a gorgeous 13 traited Leopard-Spotted Falabella Black! As Athena explained, "I have been working with the opals and other traits for quite some time to reach my goal and I finally got  my triple opal quad high coat orange and yellow hue!"
